The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Criminology Team to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
- Deliver high-quality A Level Criminology lessons that engage and challenge students.
- Design and implement effective assessment strategies that support student achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the School of Social Science to share best practices and improve curriculum delivery.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
- Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of students, young people, and vulnerable adults.
- Support the school's commitment to diversity and inclusion in all aspects of teaching and leadership.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in A Level Criminology.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a teaching team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective teaching strategies.
Preferred
- Experience in curriculum development and course leadership.
- Knowledge of vocational and T Level courses.
- Experience with student support and pastoral care.
- Familiarity with employer engagement and curriculum co-creation.
