The Opportunity:

As an A Level Economics Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and impactful instruction that supports student success. You will contribute to a stimulating academic environment and help shape future leaders through innovative teaching practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and teach up to 25 lessons per week, maintaining high academic standards and student engagement.
  • Submit lesson plans, presentations, and other required teaching documents in a timely manner.
  • Foster positive student behavior and discipline, communicating with senior leadership when necessary.
  • Continuously enhance teaching quality and contribute to departmental meetings and academic research.
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Prepare and mark assessments, analyze results, and produce performance reports.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to organize and support school events and student activities.
  • Lead at least one extracurricular activity or club, promoting student development and engagement.
  • Support admissions events, university counseling, and student competitions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience in Economics or a related subject.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Economics or a relevant field.
  • PGCE, QTS, or U.S. teaching certificate.
  • Strong knowledge of international curricula such as A Level, AP, and IGCSE.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills.
  • Passion for student-centered education and innovative teaching methodologies.

Preferred

  • Experience in international or private school environments.
  • Familiarity with student support initiatives and extracurricular program development.
