The Opportunity:

As an A Level Economics Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping students’ academic and personal development. You will deliver high-quality lessons, support student progress, and contribute to a dynamic and inclusive learning community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach A Level and IGCSE Economics courses in English or bilingual.
  • Assign and mark homework in a timely and effective manner.
  • Prepare and submit periodic student progress reports.
  • Provide additional support to students who require extra help.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Assist students with university applications and provide reference letters.
  • Attend required meetings, including parent-teacher and staff meetings.
  • Comply with all school regulations and policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Teaching certification in Economics or a related subject.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • At least two years of teaching experience in IGCSE, A Level, IB, or AP programs.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching A Level Economics specifically.
  • Bilingual teaching experience (English and Chinese).
  • Familiarity with international curricula and assessment standards.
  • Experience with student counseling or university application support.
