A-Level Economics Tutor needed to deliver tailored lessons to students with diverse learning needs.

The Opportunity:

As an A-Level Economics Tutor, you will deliver one-to-one lessons tailored to students with diverse learning needs. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students who require individualised support to achieve their academic goals in Business Studies and Economics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver individualised Business Studies and Economics lessons tailored to each student’s learning needs and academic level.
  • Teach A-Level topics such as business principles, management, marketing, finance, and entrepreneurship.
  • Adapt teaching methods to support students with SEND and other learning challenges.
  • Track and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and support teams.
  • Collaborate with pastoral teams to ensure holistic student support.
  • Maintain detailed records of lessons and progress in line with educational standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant experience teaching Business Studies and Economics.
  • Proven experience teaching A-Level Business Studies and Economics.
  • Valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one.

Preferred

  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Strong knowledge of the Business Studies curriculum and related topics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for one-to-one teaching.
