The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach A Level Geography to small classes of up to 12 students.
  • Deliver one-to-one sessions with students for 15 minutes per week.
  • Support the Senior Leader Team in promoting student well-being and success.
  • Lead by example and contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
  • Uphold the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience teaching A Level Geography.
  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge.
  • Commitment to student well-being and academic success.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.

Preferred

  • Experience with the British A Level curriculum.
  • Background in Key Stage 5 teaching.
  • Experience with one-to-one student support.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
