The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced A Level History Teacher to join our expanding Sixth Form team. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach A Level History to small classes of up to 12 students.
- Provide one-to-one support sessions of 15 minutes per week with each student.
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that align with the British A Level curriculum.
- Collaborate with the Senior Leader Team to promote student well-being and academic success.
- Support colleagues and contribute to a positive and inclusive working environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
- Participate in curriculum development and staff training initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in teaching A Level History.
- Strong knowledge of the British A Level curriculum.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality lessons to Key Stage 5 students.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience working in an international school setting.
- Familiarity with teaching diverse student populations.
- Experience with one-to-one student support and mentoring.
- Leadership or team coordination experience.
