Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in A Level Law that meet curriculum requirements.
- Support student progress through assessment, feedback, and tailored guidance.
- Contribute to the development of teaching materials and departmental initiatives.
- Participate actively in school life and contribute positively to the wider community.
- Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and academic excellence.
- Stay up to date with legal developments and incorporate them into teaching practice.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching and learning across the department.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Minimum of one year’s experience teaching A Level Law or equivalent Law subject.
- Strong knowledge of the A Level Law curriculum and examination requirements.
- Ability to create stimulating lesson plans that cater for diverse learning styles.
- Excellent communication skills with both students and colleagues.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Preferred
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Familiarity with the CLEAR Learning programme or similar character-building initiatives.
- Experience working in a single-sex educational environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Experience in a boarding or day school setting.
