The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach IGCSE and A Level Mathematics, including Further Mathematics and Mechanics.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that engage students and promote deep understanding.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
  • Support the school’s mission by fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Stay up to date with curriculum changes and best practices in mathematics education.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience in the relevant subject area.
  • Proven experience teaching CAIE A Level Mathematics, including Mechanics and Further Mathematics.
  • Degree and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Strong knowledge of the Curriculum of England and CAIE Subject.
  • Excellent English proficiency.
  • Clear ICPC Check/Police Report.
  • EU passport holder (preferred).

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Proven track record of value-added student progress and excellent exam results.
  • Experience with international education systems and diverse student populations.
  • Familiarity with the HPL and UCL partner school frameworks.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
