Key Responsibilities:
- Teach IGCSE and A Level Mathematics, including Further Mathematics and Mechanics.
- Deliver high-quality lessons that engage students and promote deep understanding.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Support the school’s mission by fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Stay up to date with curriculum changes and best practices in mathematics education.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience in the relevant subject area.
- Proven experience teaching CAIE A Level Mathematics, including Mechanics and Further Mathematics.
- Degree and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Strong knowledge of the Curriculum of England and CAIE Subject.
- Excellent English proficiency.
- Clear ICPC Check/Police Report.
- EU passport holder (preferred).
Preferred
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Proven track record of value-added student progress and excellent exam results.
- Experience with international education systems and diverse student populations.
- Familiarity with the HPL and UCL partner school frameworks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
