The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced A Level Mathematics Teacher to join our team and make a meaningful impact on student learning. This role involves teaching A Level Statistics, Mechanics, and Further Mathematics, with a focus on delivering high-quality education and supporting student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach A Level Mathematics, including Statistics, Mechanics, and Further Mathematics
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons that promote student achievement and progress
  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the Curriculum of England
  • Support students in achieving excellent results at both IGCSE and A Level
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching methods
  • Monitor and assess student performance regularly to ensure continuous improvement
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends
  • Contribute to the school’s mission of inspiring and supporting student achievement

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant degree
  • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in the relevant subject area, including Further Mathematics
  • Proven record of value-added student progress and excellent exam results
  • Strong knowledge of the Curriculum of England and CAIE subjects
  • Excellent English proficiency
  • Clear ICPC Check/Police Report

Preferred

  • Experience with A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics
  • Experience in an international school setting
  • Familiarity with UCL NPQ courses or similar professional development programs
