The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced A Level Mathematics Teacher to join our team and make a meaningful impact on student learning. This role involves teaching A Level Statistics, Mechanics, and Further Mathematics, with a focus on delivering high-quality education and supporting student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach A Level Mathematics, including Statistics, Mechanics, and Further Mathematics
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons that promote student achievement and progress
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the Curriculum of England
- Support students in achieving excellent results at both IGCSE and A Level
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching methods
- Monitor and assess student performance regularly to ensure continuous improvement
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends
- Contribute to the school’s mission of inspiring and supporting student achievement
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant degree
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in the relevant subject area, including Further Mathematics
- Proven record of value-added student progress and excellent exam results
- Strong knowledge of the Curriculum of England and CAIE subjects
- Excellent English proficiency
- Clear ICPC Check/Police Report
Preferred
- Experience with A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics
- Experience in an international school setting
- Familiarity with UCL NPQ courses or similar professional development programs
