Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective teaching across A Level Maths and Further Maths courses.
- Support students of varying ability levels and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the maths curriculum.
- Provide pastoral care and guidance to students as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning practices.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development activities.
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure achievement of learning outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and report student progress to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Maths, Physics, or a related subject.
- Recognised teaching qualification.
- Proven experience in delivering Level 3 Maths courses.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to working as a team member and supporting student success.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching A Level Maths or Further Maths.
- Experience with diverse student abilities and learning needs.
- Familiarity with current teaching methodologies and technologies.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
