The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced A-Level Music Technology Tutor to support students in Sunbury. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic and personal development, with a strong emphasis on working with students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality A-Level Music Technology tuition to students in Sunbury
Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students with special educational needs
Provide individualized support and guidance to enhance students' confidence and motivation
Collaborate with parents, schools, and education consultants to ensure consistent support
Maintain detailed records of student progress and learning outcomes
Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities
Uphold the school's safeguarding and child protection policies
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

At least 12 months of relevant tutoring and/or teaching experience in the UK
Excellent spoken and written English
Strong subject knowledge in Music Technology at A-Level
University qualification or studying towards one and A-levels
Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)
Current Enhanced DBS certificate (with a check of the children’s barred list)

Preferred

Experience with the Bright Heart Approach
Familiarity with teaching students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
Experience with online and in-person tutoring
Passion for teaching and supporting students with diverse learning needs
