Key Responsibilities:
- Teach A Level Psychology to students in Years 12 and 13, ensuring a stimulating and well-organised learning environment.
- Support the delivery of related subjects such as Geography, History, and Sociology.
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages student engagement and achievement.
- Utilise ICT tools, including Promethean IWBs and Apple Mac systems, to enhance teaching and learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the school’s curriculum continuously.
- Uphold and apply school policies consistently, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.
- Maintain high standards of student assessment and feedback to support academic progress.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in A Level Psychology.
- Experience teaching Geography, History, or Sociology is an advantage.
- Strong commitment to student achievement and a positive, enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Confident and proficient in using ICT, including Promethean IWBs and Apple Mac systems.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver a stimulating and well-structured curriculum.
Preferred
- Experience working within an international curriculum framework.
- Background in professional development and reflective teaching practices.
- Experience with international schools or a global educational environment.
