Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach A Level Psychology to students in Years 12 and 13, ensuring a stimulating and well-organised learning environment.
  • Support the delivery of related subjects such as Geography, History, and Sociology.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages student engagement and achievement.
  • Utilise ICT tools, including Promethean IWBs and Apple Mac systems, to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the school’s curriculum continuously.
  • Uphold and apply school policies consistently, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.
  • Maintain high standards of student assessment and feedback to support academic progress.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in A Level Psychology.
  • Experience teaching Geography, History, or Sociology is an advantage.
  • Strong commitment to student achievement and a positive, enthusiastic approach to teaching.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Confident and proficient in using ICT, including Promethean IWBs and Apple Mac systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver a stimulating and well-structured curriculum.

Preferred

  • Experience working within an international curriculum framework.
  • Background in professional development and reflective teaching practices.
