The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality A Level Psychology lessons that inspire and engage students.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and assessment procedures.
- Support students in achieving their academic goals through personalized guidance and feedback.
- Collaborate with the Social Science team to improve the quality of provision and student outcomes.
- Stay up to date with developments in the subject and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
- Lead and mentor junior staff where appropriate.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through extra-curricular activities and pastoral care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school policies and statutory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in A Level Psychology.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
- Experience in developing and delivering effective teaching and assessment strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and student success.
Preferred
- Experience in leading or mentoring other teachers.
- Familiarity with the use of digital tools and resources in teaching.
- Experience in working with diverse student groups and supporting their academic and personal development.
- Knowledge of current trends and research in Psychology education.
