Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality A Level Psychology lessons that engage and challenge students
- Develop and implement an effective and innovative curriculum
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support student achievement
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning
- Support students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to student reporting
- Engage in professional development and stay up to date with developments in the subject
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Psychology
- Experience in teaching A Level Psychology or a related subject
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding
Preferred
- Experience in developing and delivering A Level courses
- Knowledge of current trends and research in Psychology
- Experience with pastoral care and student support
- Familiarity with digital learning tools and resources
