Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality A Level Psychology lessons that engage and challenge students
  • Develop and implement an effective and innovative curriculum
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support student achievement
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning
  • Support students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to student reporting
  • Engage in professional development and stay up to date with developments in the subject

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Psychology
  • Experience in teaching A Level Psychology or a related subject
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and delivering A Level courses
  • Knowledge of current trends and research in Psychology
  • Experience with pastoral care and student support
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools and resources
