Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the English National Curriculum (Primary) or Cambridge Curriculum (Secondary)
  • Foster a classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies, including Project-Based Learning and outdoor education
  • Support the holistic development of students, including their social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism, communication, and safeguarding
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development opportunities
  • Provide tailored support to meet the individual needs and aspirations of students

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A recognized teaching qualification
  • Proven experience in British international schools or delivering the British or British-style curriculum
  • Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice
  • High standards of professionalism and communication in English
  • A clear commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

Preferred

  • Experience with Project-Based Learning or outdoor education
  • Familiarity with the Cambridge Curriculum or English National Curriculum
  • Experience working in a diverse, international school environment
  • Fluency in Arabic or other languages
