The Opportunity:
As an Access Arrangements Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the provision of access arrangements for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This part-time, term-time only role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic success while working in a supportive and dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage access arrangements for internal and external examinations in line with JCQ, PAAO, and CIE regulations.
- Ensure accurate recording, storage, and management of SEND-related documentation and pupil records.
- Assist in the planning, implementation, and quality assurance of examination access arrangements.
- Support the Director of Academic Mentoring with administrative duties related to SEND provision.
- Maintain up-to-date records for pupils, meetings, and information sharing.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the academic mentoring department.
- Provide clear and accurate communication with staff, pupils, and parents regarding access arrangements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in administering access arrangements for students with SEND.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information.
- Knowledge of JCQ, PAAO, and CIE regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred
- Experience in an educational setting, particularly in a school or college.
- Familiarity with examination processes and procedures.
- Experience with information management systems or software.
- Experience in a co-educational environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Part-time, term-time only role (3 days per week).
- Competitive salary of £19,496.4 pro rata per annum.
