Administrative Assistant needed at a specialist school supporting young people with autism.

The Opportunity:
As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the school’s day-to-day operations and ensuring smooth communication across the institution. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage front of house duties, including answering phone calls, handling emails, and greeting visitors.
- Support staff and SLT in contacting parents and carers throughout the school day.
- Coordinate with the school SENCO to manage and administer the student review calendar.
- Liaise with Local Authorities, Social Care, medical teams, and external therapists in preparation for student reviews.
- Oversee paperwork for reviews, including sending documents before meetings and collating paperwork after meetings.
- Ensure all student EHCP documentation is updated and stored appropriately.
- Monitor and respond to various inboxes, ensuring timely communication with relevant parties.
- Ensure all visitors are properly registered, briefed, and escorted around the school.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines.
- Good level of English and Maths.
Preferred
- Experience in an educational or administrative role.
- Previous experience working with young people or in a care setting.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies.
- Experience with student reviews and EHCP processes.
