The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role offers the chance to contribute to the smooth operation of a school dedicated to supporting students with complex needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in either the Recruitment and HR or Referrals team, with opportunities for flexible working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office applications
- Support the recruitment and HR processes by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with the administration of referrals and ensure timely processing
- Prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external contacts
- Collaborate with other members of the administration team to ensure consistent service delivery
- Support the implementation of school policies and procedures
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good level of English and Maths
- Experience in an administrative role, preferably in an educational setting
Preferred
- Experience in a school or education environment
- Familiarity with safeguarding procedures and child protection
- Knowledge of education sector processes and systems
- Experience with HR or recruitment administration
