The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role offers the chance to contribute to the smooth operation of a school dedicated to supporting students with complex needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in either the Recruitment and HR or Referrals team, with opportunities for flexible working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office applications
  • Support the recruitment and HR processes by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with the administration of referrals and ensure timely processing
  • Prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external contacts
  • Collaborate with other members of the administration team to ensure consistent service delivery
  • Support the implementation of school policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good level of English and Maths
  • Experience in an administrative role, preferably in an educational setting

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or education environment
  • Familiarity with safeguarding procedures and child protection
  • Knowledge of education sector processes and systems
  • Experience with HR or recruitment administration
