The Opportunity:

As an Admissions and Attendance Administrator, you will be responsible for managing admissions records, monitoring attendance, and ensuring accurate student data. This role is vital in maintaining compliance and supporting communication between families, staff, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date admissions records, including EHCP documentation and visit logs.
  • Input and update timetables on the EKOS portal for all new and existing students.
  • Ensure thumbnails, profiles, and visit logs are complete with all relevant information.
  • Oversee daily attendance recording and reporting.
  • Act as the main point of contact for parents/carers regarding attendance queries and absences.
  • Monitor, follow up, and escalate attendance concerns to the Deputy Manager.
  • Prepare borough feedback reports on attendance and student engagement, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong administrative experience, preferably within an educational or SEND setting.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • High attention to detail with experience of maintaining accurate records.
  • Confident communicator with parents, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and online data/portal systems.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of SEND processes and EHCP requirements.
  • Experience of working with local authorities or alternative provision.
  • Familiarity with attendance legislation and reporting requirements.
