The Opportunity:

As an Admissions Officer, you will be responsible for managing the admissions process for Pre-School and the Prep School, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective families. This role is crucial in supporting the school's recruitment goals and maintaining high standards of service and administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead admissions for Pre-School and Prep School (Reception–Year 6), supporting key recruitment priorities.
  • Manage the end-to-end admissions process, from initial contact to enrolment, maintaining accurate records in the school’s database.
  • Ensure all admissions administration is accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Work closely with the Admissions & Marketing Data Manager to support effective data management and reporting.
  • Coordinate prospective family visits, ensuring a welcoming and informative experience.
  • Support taster days and transition activities, liaising with academic staff as required.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements, including safeguarding and data protection.
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve admissions processes and the wider recruitment strategy.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in admissions, administration, customer service, or a customer-facing role.
  • Experience of managing administrative processes with a high level of accuracy.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience of working in an independent school or education setting.
  • Familiarity with school management systems such as iSAMS.
  • Understanding of the independent school admissions landscape.
