The Opportunity:
We are seeking passionate and experienced Adult Education Tutors to teach Ballroom and Latin Dancing classes. This is a fantastic opportunity to share your expertise and inspire learners in a welcoming and dynamic environment. Tutors will contribute to the success of evening classes and Saturday schools, starting in January/February 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Ballroom and Latin Dancing classes to adult learners in a structured and engaging manner.
- Deliver high-quality instruction that fosters skill development and confidence.
- Prepare and maintain lesson plans, teaching materials, and resources.
- Communicate effectively with students and provide constructive feedback.
- Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment for all participants.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure a consistent and positive experience for learners.
- Attend scheduled meetings and training sessions as required.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant technical or teaching experience in Ballroom or Latin Dancing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to student welfare and safety.
- Flexibility to teach evening classes and Saturday schools.
Preferred
- Experience in adult education or community teaching.
- Knowledge of dance techniques and styles.
- Previous experience in a similar educational or training role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate of £32.93 inclusive of holiday pay.
- Flexible working hours with sessions ranging from 1 to 2.5 hours.
