The Opportunity:

We are seeking passionate and experienced Adult Education Tutors to teach Ballroom and Latin Dancing classes. This is a fantastic opportunity to share your expertise and inspire learners in a welcoming and dynamic environment. Tutors will contribute to the success of evening classes and Saturday schools, starting in January/February 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Ballroom and Latin Dancing classes to adult learners in a structured and engaging manner.
  • Deliver high-quality instruction that fosters skill development and confidence.
  • Prepare and maintain lesson plans, teaching materials, and resources.
  • Communicate effectively with students and provide constructive feedback.
  • Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment for all participants.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure a consistent and positive experience for learners.
  • Attend scheduled meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant technical or teaching experience in Ballroom or Latin Dancing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to student welfare and safety.
  • Flexibility to teach evening classes and Saturday schools.

Preferred

  • Experience in adult education or community teaching.
  • Knowledge of dance techniques and styles.
  • Previous experience in a similar educational or training role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £32.93 inclusive of holiday pay.
