Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in creating a positive and engaging learning environment
- Assist in developing and maintaining strong relationships with students
- Provide individualised support to students to help them reach their full potential
- Collaborate with colleagues and multi-agencies to ensure student needs are met
- Contribute to the delivery of a high-quality curriculum and learning experiences
- Assist with assessments and support students in developing independent learning skills
- Promote the school's vision and values through consistent and professional conduct
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance teaching and support skills
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- GCSE or equivalent Functional Skills Mathematics and English (Grade Level 2)
- GCSE or equivalent Mathematics and English (Grade C/4 or above)
- Commitment to the school's vision and values
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and colleagues
Preferred
- Experience working with young people
- Knowledge of the school’s context and community
- Experience with teaching or learning support
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Initiative and creativity in supporting student learning
