Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Arabic A&B lessons that align with IB standards and student needs.
- Develop and implement inquiry-based learning strategies to promote student-centered learning.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages all students to reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and consistent approach to teaching and learning.
- Assess student progress effectively and use data to inform instruction and support learning outcomes.
- Participate in school-wide events and community activities, contributing to a positive and vibrant school culture.
- Maintain strong communication with parents and students to support student success and well-being.
- Continuously reflect on and improve teaching practices through professional development and peer collaboration.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelors degree in Arabic Language or similar, with a PGCE in Education with QTS or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years’ experience teaching in a reputable school.
- Experience with Arabic A and/or Arabic B teaching.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a track record of building professional relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient/advanced-level English language skills.
- A track record of outstanding student results and a commitment to student success.
Preferred
- Experience with the IB programme.
- Knowledge of assessment and its use in the classroom.
- Demonstrated ability to plan rich, engaging, and challenging learning experiences.
- Inter-cultural awareness and enthusiasm for working with diverse students and families.
