Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging, inquiry-based Arabic lessons tailored to diverse student abilities.
- Foster a classroom environment that promotes student success, curiosity, and a love for learning.
- Support the implementation of the IB programme, with a focus on student-centered learning and assessment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
- Maintain strong communication with parents and students to support academic progress and well-being.
- Participate in professional development and community events that enrich the school culture.
- Ensure consistent assessment practices and track student progress effectively.
- Contribute to the development of rich, challenging learning experiences that stretch students to achieve their potential.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelors degree in Arabic Language or similar, with a PGCE in Education with QTS or equivalent.
- Proficient/advanced-level English language skills.
- Minimum of three years' experience teaching in a reputable school.
- Experience with Arabic A and/or Arabic B teaching.
- A track record of outstanding student results and a proven ability to support student achievement.
- Demonstrated professionalism, enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity.
- Strong inter-cultural awareness and communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience with the IB programme.
- Familiarity with inquiry-based learning and student-centered teaching approaches.
- Experience with assessment and its use in the classroom.
- Flexibility, creativity, and a positive attitude toward collaboration and community engagement.
