The Opportunity:

As an Arabic Teacher - Primo, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic and personal development of students within a progressive, inquiry-based learning environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging, inquiry-based Arabic lessons tailored to diverse student abilities.
  • Foster a classroom environment that promotes student success, curiosity, and a love for learning.
  • Support the implementation of the IB programme, with a focus on student-centered learning and assessment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and students to support academic progress and well-being.
  • Participate in professional development and community events that enrich the school culture.
  • Ensure consistent assessment practices and track student progress effectively.
  • Contribute to the development of rich, challenging learning experiences that stretch students to achieve their potential.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelors degree in Arabic Language or similar, with a PGCE in Education with QTS or equivalent.
  • Proficient/advanced-level English language skills.
  • Minimum of three years' experience teaching in a reputable school.
  • Experience with Arabic A and/or Arabic B teaching.
  • A track record of outstanding student results and a proven ability to support student achievement.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity.
  • Strong inter-cultural awareness and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with the IB programme.
  • Familiarity with inquiry-based learning and student-centered teaching approaches.
  • Experience with assessment and its use in the classroom.
  • Flexibility, creativity, and a positive attitude toward collaboration and community engagement.
