The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Art and Design Teacher to join our team and support students across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5. This role offers the opportunity to shape creative minds and deliver high-quality education aligned with the National Curriculum of England and Wales and CIE qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 Art and Design courses in line with the National Curriculum and CIE IGCSE, AS, and A-Level specifications.
- Deliver engaging and innovative lessons that inspire creativity and technical skill.
- Support students in developing their artistic abilities and preparing for assessments.
- Participate in the planning and delivery of cross-curricular and enrichment activities.
- Contribute to the pastoral care of students through Form Tutoring.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Engage in continuous professional development and subject-specific training.
- Maintain accurate records and assessments of student progress.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Art and Design.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum of England and Wales.
- Fluency in English with a strong understanding of grammar and usage.
- Experience teaching CIE IGCSE, AS, and A-Level Art and Design courses.
- Ability to meet the needs of Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 learners.
Preferred
- Experience with Form Tutoring.
- Background in continuous professional development.
- Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
