Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, innovative Art and Design Technology lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and student learning experiences.
  • Stay up to date with current trends and developments in Art and Design Technology.
  • Participate in professional development and staff training initiatives.

  • Manage classroom resources and ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Art and Design Technology.
  • Proven ability to teach photography and other art-related subjects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
  • Experience in delivering creative and engaging lessons.

Preferred

  • Experience with curriculum development and cross-disciplinary teaching.
  • Knowledge of digital art and design technologies.
  • Experience in leading extracurricular activities or student projects.
  • Previous experience in a school setting with a focus on student-centered learning.
