Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, innovative Art and Design Technology lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and student learning experiences.
- Stay up to date with current trends and developments in Art and Design Technology.
- Participate in professional development and staff training initiatives.
- Encourage student creativity and individual expression through project-based learning.
- Manage classroom resources and ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Art and Design Technology.
- Proven ability to teach photography and other art-related subjects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
- Experience in delivering creative and engaging lessons.
Preferred
- Experience with curriculum development and cross-disciplinary teaching.
- Knowledge of digital art and design technologies.
- Experience in leading extracurricular activities or student projects.
- Previous experience in a school setting with a focus on student-centered learning.
