The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching across 16-18 and 19+ Art and Design programmes.
- Support students in developing practical skills and confidence in their subject area.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of curriculum content and learning materials.
- Provide constructive feedback and assessment to help students achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the ongoing development of the Art and Design faculty.
- Engage in professional development and training opportunities to maintain and enhance teaching expertise.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher status or equivalent, or relevant experience in teaching and learning.
- Experience in teaching Art and Design at Further Education level.
- Strong knowledge of 2D, 3D, Digital, Fine Art, Graphics, Sculpture, Ceramics, Print, Textiles, and Mixed Media.
- Commitment to student success and a passion for creative education.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching across a range of levels, from Entry to Level 4 and HE.
- Background in a similar subject area or department.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary ranging from £17.48 to £21.86 per hour, with a 40% top-up on all teaching hours.
