Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging Art lessons at GCSE, A Level, and IB levels.
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in Art and Design.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in Art education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
- Collaborate with other teachers to support a cohesive and enriching curriculum.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students within the Art Department.
- Manage classroom resources and maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment.
- Participate in school events and contribute to the wider school community.
- Monitor and assess student progress through regular evaluations and feedback.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant Art education experience.
- Proven ability to teach GCSE Art, A Level Art and Design, and IB Visual Arts.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for Art and a commitment to student development.
Preferred
- Experience in a boarding school or independent educational setting.
- Familiarity with the English curriculum and IB framework.
- Demonstrated success in raising student attainment and engagement.
