Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured, and differentiated Art lessons
- Support pupils in achieving ability-appropriate qualifications and outcomes
- Inspire confidence, curiosity, and creativity across year groups
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, using data to inform planning and targets
- Differentiate teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs
- Use ICT and digital tools to enhance learning where appropriate
- Create a positive, well-managed classroom environment
- Contribute to pupils’ social, moral, and cultural development
- Build strong, professional relationships with parents and carers
- Support Teaching Assistants to maximize student engagement
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Art within a school setting
- Strong knowledge of effective and high-quality classroom practice
Preferred
- Experience working with students who have autism or special educational needs
- Experience in developing and delivering creative, inclusive curricula
- Familiarity with trauma-informed approaches and de-escalation techniques
