Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Art lessons across Key Stages to nurture student creativity and confidence.
- Plan and assess student work in line with curriculum standards and learning outcomes.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
- Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the Art curriculum.
- Support the school’s wider community through enrichment activities, exhibitions, and creative events.
- Collaborate with the Art department to share best practices and maintain high teaching standards.
- Promote student engagement through creative projects and extracurricular opportunities.
- Ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment that supports all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.
- Strong subject knowledge in Art and a passion for teaching.
- Experience in delivering high-quality Art lessons to students across Key Stages.
- Commitment to inclusive teaching and student well-being.
- Ability to plan and assess student work effectively.
Preferred
- Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
- Experience with enrichment activities or extracurricular Art programs.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and digital tools in Art education.
- Experience working in a school with a strong focus on student behavior and academic outcomes.
