Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out physical checks of the buildings and address any repairs or potential hazards.
- Report and document any issues found, ensuring they are resolved promptly.
- Open and close the building as required during the day.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks using appropriate materials and mechanical cleaning aids.
- Regularly inspect the buildings to ensure no unauthorized persons are present.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in caretaking and maintenance work
- Knowledge of manual handling techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Experience using hand power tools and workshop machinery
Preferred
- Additional training in building maintenance or safety procedures
- Experience working in an educational setting
