Assistant Employability Manager sought to support industry placements and skills development for T Level students.

The Opportunity:
As an Assistant Employability Manager, you will play a key role in supporting T Level students by securing high-quality industry placements and building strong relationships with employers. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the school’s mission of providing outstanding educational experiences and preparing students for future success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with employers in the private, public, and third sectors.
- Assist in securing meaningful and high-quality T Level industry placements for students.
- Support the development and implementation of employer engagement and skills development plans.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of employers and placements.
- Act as a key point of contact for employers and students regarding industry placements.
- Facilitate communication between employers, students, and staff to ensure a successful placement experience.
- Attend networking events to promote the school and establish new employer partnerships.
- Provide regular reports on industry placements and student destination data.
- Support employers in delivering best practice industry placements through training and resources.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in recruitment, business development, or a related field.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in managing and coordinating industry placements or work experience programs.
- Commitment to student success and employer engagement.
Preferred
- Experience in the education sector, particularly in further education or T Level provision.
- Knowledge of employer engagement strategies and best practices.
- Experience with employer satisfaction surveys and data analysis.
- Ability to produce marketing materials and case studies to promote industry placements.
- Familiarity with safeguarding and equality and diversity policies in education.
