The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the development of the academic programmes and policies
  • Promote a safe, emotionally secure, and stimulating learning environment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure student needs are met
  • Manage and mentor staff to enhance teaching and learning outcomes
  • Monitor and improve student attainment and progress
  • Develop and implement innovative approaches to teaching and learning
  • Support the school’s mission to develop global leaders through education
  • Model and encourage continuous professional development and self-reflection

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status and evidence of relevant in-service training
  • Proven track record of raising attainment and improving student outcomes
  • Detailed knowledge of Upper School practice and policy
  • Ability to manage change and support the development of academic programmes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in classroom management and promoting positive behaviour
  • Understanding of child development and its impact on learning
  • Commitment to working with parents and fostering a collaborative environment

Preferred

  • Professional senior leadership qualification (e.g., MA, NPQH)
  • Accredited Coaching Qualification
  • Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities
  • Experience in curriculum design and innovation
