The Opportunity:
As an Assistant Headteacher, you will provide strategic leadership and support to the Campus Principal, driving the school’s mission to deliver high standards in teaching and learning. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education innovation and committed to student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support the implementation of the National Curriculum and Assessment Framework for KS3-5.
- Oversee data analysis and reporting to ensure continuous improvement in student outcomes.
- Lead and support pastoral and behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement modern teaching methods and technologies.
- Provide professional leadership and mentorship to staff across the school.
- Ensure alignment with the school’s vision, values, and pedagogical approach.
- Support the Campus Principal in strategic planning and school development initiatives.
- Promote a culture of self-directed learning and student autonomy.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status and a relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in teaching and managing student behaviour.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and Assessment Framework for KS3-5.
- Experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
- Commitment to innovation in teaching and learning practices.
Preferred
- Experience with online learning platforms and video conferencing tools.
- Background in pastoral care or student support.
- Experience with self-directed learning frameworks.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in a global or international school setting.
