Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Headteacher to implement school improvement plans.
  • Promote a culture of continuous professional development for all staff.

  • Represent the school in external forums and partnerships.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within education.
  • Strong track record in teaching and learning leadership.
  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in a secondary school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.

Preferred

  • Experience in teacher training or school improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
  • Leadership experience in a Teaching School Hub or similar setting.
  • Experience in working with diverse student populations.
