The Opportunity:
As an Assistant Houseparent, you will provide evening care for boys in the school's largest Prep boarding house. This role also offers opportunities to develop skills in marketing and admissions during the day. You will be a key member of the team, supporting the wellbeing of students and contributing to the school's dynamic and supportive culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evening care and support for boys in the boarding house.
- Foster a warm and supportive environment for students, parents, and staff.
- Assist with the smooth running of the boarding house during evenings and weekends.
- Collaborate with the Housemaster and other team members to ensure the wellbeing of all students.
- Engage in professional development through membership of The Institute of Boarding (TIOB).
- Support marketing and admissions initiatives during the day.
- Participate in weekend activities and events that enhance student engagement and community spirit.
- Maintain high standards of professional practice and uphold the school's ethos.

Required
- A graduate with a strong commitment to working with children.

Preferred
- Experience in a boarding or residential care environment.
- Previous experience in marketing or admissions.
- Knowledge of child development and wellbeing practices.
- Experience with The Institute of Boarding (TIOB) or similar professional bodies.
