Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Pastoral Manager and Senior Leadership Team in maintaining a structured and supportive school culture.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff to enhance wellbeing and engagement.
- Manage daily routines and behaviour across the school to ensure a positive learning environment.
- Provide guidance to staff on effective behaviour management and restorative practices.
- Monitor student behaviour and wellbeing, identifying areas for support and celebrating progress.
- Contribute to pastoral planning, meetings, and lesson observations.
- Champion safeguarding, inclusion, and emotional development for all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Experience working with children or young people, preferably in a school or pastoral setting.
- Strong understanding of behaviour for learning and how to apply it effectively.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and teamwork skills.
- A calm, positive, and professional approach with a genuine passion for supporting young people.
Preferred
- Experience in a pastoral or educational leadership role.
- Knowledge of restorative practices and behaviour management strategies.
- Experience with safeguarding and inclusion initiatives.
