As the Assistant Principal – Behaviour, you will play a key role in shaping the school’s strategic direction and driving improvements in behaviour and safeguarding. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive strategic improvements across behaviour and safeguarding.
- Develop and implement actionable plans to secure impact.
- Model and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and conduct.
- Monitor and evaluate performance using data from safeguarding and pastoral systems.
- Ensure accountability for maintaining culture, systems, routines, and standards.
- Tackle underperformance and drive continual improvement.
- Implement a Warm/Strict approach to behaviour management.
- Build strong relationships with staff, students, and families.
- Contribute strategically to whole-school improvement as part of the senior leadership team.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven track record in behaviour management and pastoral systems.
- Experience in a leadership role within education.
- Strong data analysis and evaluation skills.
- Ability to lead by example and maintain high standards.
- Commitment to safeguarding and student well-being.
Preferred
- Experience with implementing behaviour management systems.
- Background in evidence-based teaching methodologies.
- Experience in curriculum development and teacher support.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
