The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic improvements across behaviour, safeguarding, and teaching standards.
  • Develop and implement clear plans to secure impact and raise achievement.
  • Model excellent practice and support colleagues through mentoring and professional development.
  • Use data and evidence to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Uphold high standards and ensure accountability for routines and culture.
  • Tackle underperformance effectively and robustly.
  • Be a visible and influential leader across the school, leading from the front.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a senior or middle leadership role within education.
  • Outstanding classroom practice and a track record of strong student outcomes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Experience in driving improvement in teaching and learning.
  • Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.

Preferred

  • Experience in school-wide strategic planning and implementation.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and behaviour management practices.
  • Experience with data analysis and performance evaluation.
  • Experience in working within an academy trust or multi-academy trust.
