Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the development of teaching and learning strategies across the school
- Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to drive school improvement and raise standards
- Manage and mentor staff to ensure high-quality teaching and student outcomes
- Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes student well-being and achievement
- Oversee pastoral care and support systems for students
- Develop and implement policies that align with the school’s vision and values
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a consistent and high-quality educational experience
- Monitor and report on student progress and attainment across all key stages
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a proven track record in education
- Experience in a leadership or management role within a school setting
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development and pedagogy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents
Preferred
- Experience in Geography teaching or curriculum leadership
- Familiarity with multi-academy trust structures and operations
- Experience in school improvement or leading change initiatives
- A passion for developing innovative teaching resources and strategies
- Experience in pastoral care and student support
