We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Assistant Principal - Science to join our leadership team. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the science department to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.

- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
- Mentor and coach teachers to enhance pedagogy and professional development.
- Manage departmental resources and ensure effective use of centralised planning tools.
- Promote a positive and inclusive school culture aligned with the institution's values.
- Support the implementation of the school’s curriculum and behaviour policies.
- Work closely with the leadership team to maintain high standards of teaching and learning across the school.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience as a highly effective teacher of Science.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Commitment to educational excellence and student achievement.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring colleagues.
- Ability to develop and implement school-wide improvement strategies.
- Familiarity with effective teaching methods and curriculum design.
Preferred
- Experience in a leadership role within a school setting.
- Knowledge of Rosenshine principles and Teach Like a Champion methodologies.
- Experience with data-driven decision making and student progress tracking.
- Background in inclusive education and supporting diverse student needs.
- Experience with centralised systems for planning, behaviour, and homework management.
