The Opportunity:

As an Assistant Registrar, you will be central to the admissions process, ensuring that every family feels welcomed and informed from the moment they first contact the school. This role is ideal for someone who values exceptional customer service and takes pride in delivering a seamless experience for prospective students and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for prospective families, providing prompt and warm support
  • Manage the full admissions journey for 4+ and 7+ entry, including applications, interviews, and offers
  • Build strong relationships with families throughout the admissions process
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date admissions records in line with departmental policies
  • Coordinate with feeder schools to request pupil references and prepare offer letters and joining documentation

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within an educational setting
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping

Preferred

  • Experience in school admissions or related administrative roles
  • Familiarity with school entry processes and assessments
  • Knowledge of educational partnerships and collaboration with state sector institutions
