The Opportunity:

As an Assistant Site Manager, you will support the Operations Manager: Site in maintaining and improving the school site. This role is essential to the school’s long-term vision of transforming the campus over the next five years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Operations Manager: Site in managing school site operations, including cleaning, maintenance, and health and safety.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of the school’s ambitious refurbishment projects.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across the school site.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and service providers to maintain the school’s facilities.
  • Monitor and report on the condition of school buildings and infrastructure.
  • Contribute to the development of a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.
  • Assist with the management of school events and activities on site.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work carried out.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in site management or a related field.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience in the education sector or working within a school environment.
  • Familiarity with building maintenance and refurbishment processes.
  • Experience with project management or planning.
  • Knowledge of relevant software or systems for site management.
