Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track student attendance data to identify trends and patterns.
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to improve attendance rates and address barriers to attendance.
- Develop and implement strategies to support students with poor attendance.
- Provide regular reports and insights to the Senior Leadership Team.
- Collaborate with external agencies to support students and families in need.
- Promote positive attendance culture through communication and engagement activities.
- Support the school's transition to its new facility and continued growth.
- Contribute to the development of attendance policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in a school or educational setting, preferably in attendance or pastoral roles.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills with the ability to interpret attendance data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, staff, and parents.
- Commitment to improving student outcomes and attendance rates.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience in a Multi-Academy Trust or similar educational organisation.
- Knowledge of attendance legislation and best practice.
- Experience with data management systems or software.
- Background in student welfare or support services.
