The Opportunity:

As a Behaviour Manager, you will support students at risk of exclusion and help them engage in meaningful, tailored education. This is a vital role in making a real difference in the lives of young people through collaboration and positive engagement with students, families, and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students at risk of exclusion through tailored, bespoke educational programs.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with students, parents, staff, and external agencies.
  • Work closely with the Lighthouse Centre to ensure effective student inclusion and engagement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address challenging student behaviours and improve outcomes.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive school culture and support students in achieving their personal best.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders to ensure joined-up support for students and their families.
  • Provide guidance and support to students and their families to help them overcome barriers to learning and success.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of student inclusion provision within the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in working with vulnerable and challenging students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to inclusivity and student personal development.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • Experience in behaviour management and inclusion strategies.

Preferred

  • Experience in working with students at risk of exclusion.
  • Background in education or youth support services.
  • Experience in collaborative working with external agencies.
  • Knowledge of personalised learning pathways and student support strategies.
