The Opportunity:
As a Biology Teacher in the Easter Revision Programme, you will play a key role in helping students consolidate their learning and achieve success in their exams. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced educators to make a difference in a dynamic and supportive academic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction tailored to the needs of A Level and GCSE students
- Create a positive and motivating classroom environment that encourages student engagement
- Support students in developing exam techniques and building confidence
- Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience
- Provide targeted feedback to help students improve their performance
- Stay up to date with UK exam board requirements and incorporate them into teaching
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A relevant academic degree or teaching qualification
- Previous teaching experience, particularly at A Level or GCSE
- Strong knowledge of UK exam boards and their requirements in Biology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students
Preferred
- Experience in delivering revision courses or exam preparation
- Familiarity with online teaching tools and resources
- Experience working with international students
- Strong organisational and time management skills
