As a Boarding Housemistress Senior, you will play a vital role in the lives of the girls in your care. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the wellbeing, discipline, and happiness of girls in a senior boarding house.
- Act as the primary point of contact for parents and students, ensuring open and effective communication.
- Support the academic and personal development of students through pastoral care and guidance.
- Collaborate with teaching and support staff to ensure a cohesive and positive boarding experience.
- Oversee and manage house-related administrative tasks and events.
- Provide mentorship and support to students, fostering a safe and inclusive environment.
- Ensure the smooth operation of daily house routines and activities.
- Promote a culture of high standards, responsibility, and community spirit within the house.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a leadership or pastoral role within an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to student welfare, discipline, and a supportive boarding environment.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work effectively under pressure.
