Summary:

Bridge Manager needed for a full time, temporary role at a school in the North of England.

The Opportunity:

As a Bridge Manager, you will lead and support the Bridge and PLC facilities to ensure the learning and welfare of vulnerable students. This is a key role in promoting student success and engagement within a high-performing institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the operations of Bridge and PLC facilities.
  • Support and lead the Deep Support team in promoting the learning and welfare of vulnerable students.
  • Develop strategies to remove barriers to learning and improve student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with teaching and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student welfare.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and support programs.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and safeguarding procedures.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on the progress of students and initiatives.
  • Work closely with external agencies and support services to enhance student support.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
  • Commitment to improving student outcomes and engagement.

Preferred

  • Experience in working with vulnerable students and those facing barriers to learning.
  • Familiarity with PLC and Bridge support systems.
  • Experience in a high-performing school or academy trust.
  • Understanding of educational policies and best practices in student welfare.
