The Opportunity:

A BTEC Marketing Teacher is sought to deliver an inspiring and interactive curriculum within a newly-established Sixth Form College. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and committed to driving student success through innovative teaching and strong pastoral support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, resource and deliver imaginative, interactive and inspiring schemes of learning that ensure all students make excellent progress.
  • Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that promotes high standards of behaviour and student engagement.
  • Provide enriching extra-curricular opportunities that support student development and personal growth.
  • Monitor student progress through regular assessments and set achievable targets using AFL strategies.
  • Maintain open and professional communication with parents to keep them informed of student progress and achievements.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to equality of opportunity and actively support student welfare and guidance.
  • Contribute to the academic and careers guidance programme, and lead on enrichment activities.
  • Uphold and support the school’s policies and values consistently and diligently.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the Sixth Form College.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Honors Degree in Marketing and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience of teaching BTEC International Level 3.
  • Demonstrated ability to share outstanding teaching practice.
  • Strong commitment to student welfare and educational excellence.
  • Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in curriculum leadership or a willingness to take on such a role.
  • Interest in career growth, leadership, and sustainability.
  • A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
