The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and experienced BTEC Travel and Tourism Teacher to join its expanding Sixth Form division. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' futures while working in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality BTEC Travel and Tourism lessons to Key Stage 5 students.
  • Manage small class sizes of up to 12 students with dedicated one-to-one time each week.
  • Support the Senior Leader Team in promoting student well-being and academic success.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages growth and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and welfare policies.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging and relevant lesson plans aligned with the British curriculum.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience teaching A Level and/or BTEC Travel and Tourism.
  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge.
  • Experience working in Key Stage 5 within the British curriculum.
  • Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school setting with a focus on individualized learning.
  • Leadership or mentoring experience within a teaching team.
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools and resources.
